The inctools Project

The inctools project is an open process for the development of computational implementations of statistical analysis relevant to estimating population level (as opposed to study-cohort level) incidence. While broadly conceived in the long term, for now the emphasis is on HIV incidence in particular. Estimating HIV incidence shares some particular challenges with the estimation of the incidence of any chronic condition, so there is in principle already some generalisation immediately available in the early versions. At this time, there are two primary links which potential users or collaborators should be aware of:

The CRAN index page about the latest formally released version of the R package “inctools”.

The github page for the primary inctools R package code repository

Editorial control over the R package releases and the GIT repository officially vests in SACEMA, and is managed by Eduard Grebe.
